“Eliana Otta Vildoso peruanska je suvremena umjetnica i istra\u017eiva\u010dica iz Lime, producentica i doktorica umjetnosti s be\u010dkim doktoratom, ali i vrlo aktivnim i bogatim umjetni\u010dkim radom. Neki od
\nElianinih trenutnih projekata smje\u0161teni su u Gr\u010dku gdje umjetnica nadogra\u0111uje svoj umjetni\u010dki i istra\u017eiva\u010dki rad, sura\u0111uje na razli\u010ditim umjetni\u010dkim projektima koji se temelje na timskom radu u zajednici. Eliani je kri\u017eeva\u010dka izlo\u017eba prva samostalna izlo\u017eba u Europi, a time i nama posebna. Odluka da Eliana predstavi svoj rad u Kri\u017eevcima po\u010diva na tome da Elianino umjetni\u010dko djelovanje velikim dijelom proizlazi iz po\u0161tovanja i divljenja prema prirodi, a tako u ve\u0107ini di\u0161u i gra\u0111ani Kri\u017eevaca i kri\u017eeva\u010dkog kraja – s po\u0161tovanjem prema prirodnim bogatstvima. Kri\u017eevci su plodno tlo
\nza su\u017eivot s prirodom i prirodnom raznoliko\u0161\u0107u, promi\u0161ljanjem o ekologiji te prirodnim resursima kao izvoru samoodr\u017eivosti.<\/p>\n

Eliana dakako ulazi puno dublje u prirodu, ulazi u njezin mikrosvijet. Umjetnica se poistovje\u0107uje i stapa s prirodom i slojevima zemlje koji nose specifi\u010dne teksture (kamena), boje (kamena), tvrdo\u0107u i sje\u0107anja, pronalaze\u0107i, naslu\u0107uju\u0107i i uvi\u0111aju\u0107i neraskidivu povezanost iz koje nastajemo i u koju nestajemo. Klju\u010dni motiv i nositelj kri\u017eeva\u010dke izlo\u017ebe je kamen. Kamen kao pokreta\u010d i okida\u010d za umjetni\u010dko istra\u017eivanje, potreba za povratkom korijenima, \u017eelja za pronala\u017eenjem izvornih poticaja. (…)” Tea Hatadi<\/p>\n

“Eliana Otta Vildoso is a Peruvian contemporary artist and researcher from Lima, a producer with a <\/strong>PhD in Arts from Vienna, and a highly active and prolific artistic work. Some of Eliana’s current pro<\/strong>jects are located in Greece where this artist builds on her artistic and research work, collaborating <\/strong>on various artistic projects grounded in community-based teamwork. Eliana’s exhibition in Kri\u017eevci <\/strong>is her first solo exhibition in Europe, making it particularly special to us. The decision to have Eliana <\/strong>present her work in Kri\u017eevci rests on the fact that Eliana’s artistic practice largely stems from res<\/strong>pect and admiration for nature, a sentiment shared by many inhabitants of Kri\u017eevci and the surro<\/strong>unding region – with respect for natural resources. Kri\u017eevci provides fertile ground for coexistence <\/strong>with nature and natural diversity, contemplating ecology and natural resources as a source of <\/strong>self-sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eliana, of course, delves much deeper into nature, into its microcosm. The artist identifies <\/strong>and merges with nature and the layers of the earth characterized by specific textures (of <\/strong>stone), colours (of stone), hardness and memories, discovering, sensing and seeing the <\/strong>inseparable connection from which we emerge and into which we disappear. <\/strong>The key motif and protagonist of the Kri\u017eevci exhibition is stone. Stone, as a driver <\/strong>and trigger for artistic exploration, the need to return to the roots, the desire to find <\/strong>original stimuli. (…)” Tea Hatadi

Eliana Otta Vildoso (Lima, 1981.) diplomirala je umjetnost i magistrirala
\nkulturalne studije na Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa.
\nDoktorirala je s projektom Lost and Shared: Approaches to Collective
\nMourning Towards Affective and Transformative Politics na doktoratu iz
\nprakse na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Be\u010du. Suosniva\u010dica je kolek-
\ntiva Mouries u Ateni i umjetni\u010dkog prostora Bisagra u Limi. Koordinirala
\nje rad kustoskog tima stalnog postava u Lugar de la Memoria, la
\nTolerancia y la Inclusi\u00f3n Social.
\nPredavala je na Umjetni\u010dkom fakultetu PUCP, Corriente Alterna i Escuela
\nNacional de Bellas Artes.<\/p>\n

Eliana Otta Vildoso (Lima, 1981) has a degree in art and a Master’s degree in<\/strong>
\nCultural Studies from the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Per\u00fa.<\/strong>
\nShe obtained her PhD with the project Lost and Shared: Approaches to<\/strong>
\nCollective Mourning Towards Affective and Transformative Politics from the<\/strong>
\nPhD in Practice at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She co-founded the<\/strong>
\ncollective Mouries in Athens and the artist-run space Bisagra in Lima. She<\/strong>
\ncoordinated the curatorial team for the permanent exhibition at Lugar de la<\/strong>
\nMemoria, la Tolerancia y la Inclusi\u00f3n Social.<\/strong>
\nShe has taught at the Art Faculty of PUCP, Corriente Alterna and Escuela<\/strong>
\nNacional de Bellas Artes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
